Genealogies of Current Knowledge Formations
The overarching aim of the research group is to make the intersections of law and gender studies visible and to discuss disciplinary peculiarities such as transdisciplinary contexts in greater depth. The interface between law as a socio-cultural context for discourse and action and gender as an effective social norm and structural category will be addressed. The cooperation of the subprojects thus also presents itself as a conceptual workshop through which (1) the production processes of current normative orders are made visible, (2) exchange processes between different disciplinary and social knowledge spaces are identified, and (3) methodological and epistemological questions are discussed following reconstructive procedures.
The research group assumes that only such a systematic, historical, political and disciplinary contextualizing conceptual reflection can make transdisciplinary encounters also productive as confrontations.
